Summer update continued... This one has lost two teeth so far

And this one has gotten four new ones(picture doesn't show the teeth but it's too darn cute not to post)

And while we have been busy losing/gaining teeth and celebrating birthdays, we have also been spending a lot of time doing this

The Long Short of our busy days...

I realize that I am a slacker. I know this about myself and I am not going to apologize. Life has been happening around here and I just have not taken a time-out to update. Here is a quick peek of what we have been doing. THIS lady graduated and her mamma cried. Even though we start "big school" in a few short weeks, it is so very hard to believe that we are already at this stage. WHY does time have to go oh so fast?

THIS little guy has grown a TON since I have become a slacker. He is a mover and a shaker for sure.

( I just had to post this one. PJ loves to eat and as you can tell, he is missing a bite.

Four Months! I cannot believe it has been four months since my last post. So much has been happening that I haven't taken the time to post. The little 4 month old in the pics from my Dec post is now a crawling, babbling 9 month old who is so very much fun to have around. His big sister is getting ready to have her pre-kindergarten graduation and their poor mommy is having a hard time with both of the babies growing up so fast! foster has been the best big sister and she is so very protective and motherly to her PJ. She loves him so much and he thinks she is the B.E.S.T. Below are a few pictures that our friend Latrell took of the kids Easter weekend.

** Long Post Alert** We have been really busy lately and I have not taken the time to blog. Here is a quick rundown on the Portera world over the last month... THIS little man turned 4 months old (comparison photos to come) and is now eating food. So far, we have had rice cereal, sweet potatoes, butternut squash and bananas. He has liked them all and has had no reactions to any. Our next sample will be green beans. Here he is at his first cereal tasting We also had to get shots this month. He was really mad before the shots so our crying didn't get any worse:) His stats for four months: 15.1 pounds (50th percentile) and 23 inches long (10th percentile). We really have some growing to do and as much as he sleeps during the day, we should have no problem gaining some length between now and our 6 month visit! The leading lady has been busy too. Besides being an awesome big sister and learning tons in pre-k, she performed at her school's Thanksgiving lunch. Pictures are not the best but they will do. She doesn't look thrilled but she did know all the songs. My personal favorite performance besides the Lord's prayer was Mr. Turkey. "Mr. Turkey, Mr. Turkey, run away, run away. You better be careful or else you'll be a mouthful on Thanksgiving Day." Too Cute!!! She's now getting ready for her dance and Christmas programs at school and hopefully I will have better pictures for those. We had Thanksgiving at KK's this year and EVERYBODY was there this year. Kayla, Tona and I tried to get pictures of the little ones but it's really hard getting a four and five month old to smile at the same time and get all of the kids together too. Sweet PJ and Lila Claire Avery and Foster took just a few minutes from playing to take pictures with the babies. All we needed were Lindsey Grace, Carson and James Camyron and we would have had all 7 of the great grands. Maybe we can get them all together at Christmas. We have been doing a lot of decorating too and I hope to get those pictures posted sooner rather than later. I couldn't help but take this picture last week when we were decorating. I had PJ stuffed in Foss' old boppy so he could see the tree and she just decided to sit with him (Ignore the mess around). Fortunately we have more of these moments than not because she really does love him to pieces and he feels the same about her. LOVE:)
